Competition Submission Guidelines

  1. Purchase your group's All-Access Passes

    • Groups of any size, made up of members from any school(s), can submit to compete. All members must be full-time students.
    • Passes must be purchased for each group member in order for your competition submission to be eligible. 
    • Be sure to indicate your interest in competing during check-out. Get Tickets Now

  2. Make a short video—5 minutes or less—including the following material:

    • A vocally unedited performance from this academic year of at least two songs (can be song fragments). No digital tuning, y'all—we want to hear your pure voices in this round.
    • The reason your group wants to be a part of BOSS, and what you alone can bring to our competition. Give us an idea of what we can expect and why we should choose your group (but please keep it brief—remember, judging is primarily based on your music).
    • Any other fun things you want our team to know about? Share them!

  3. Fill out the submission form

    • Upload your submission video to YouTube, make it unlisted, and submit it via the following form by Friday, February 6th at 6pm ET.
    • All groups that purchase passes and indicate interest in the competition will receive the competition theme following application submission.

Share a brief bio (2–3 sentences) about your group. Include your group's social handles so we can tag you appropriately in posts.
Please provide a high-res photo of your group, which may be used to announce your selection to the competition and highlight your group on social media!
